Lithuanian min says EU can introduce new sanctions against Russia
BRUSSELS, Apr 16 (PRIME) -- The E.U. may introduce new sanctions against Russia but they would not be linked to the Syrian conflict, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius told reporters on Monday.
“This is not ruled out but the sanctions are unrelated to Syria. We have sanctions (concerning) Minsk (agreements). Since we have no progress on Minsk, additional sanctions or prolongation for 12 instead of six months can happen,” Linkevicius said.
